Until you’re going to see the final result of Fabulamundi Workshop #4, the reading performance Against the flow, scheduled this Wednesday, December, 18, 7 p.m., in the Studio Hall (FREE ENTRANCE), today, December, 16, “Gheorghe Lazăr”’s National College, ACE Theatre Group, met @ODEON Catalan playwright Oriol Morales i Pujolar, who came from Barcelona.
Oriol Morales Pujolar’s workshop was part of the Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe Workshop #4, coordinated by playwright Mihaela Michailov.
The participants are: Sara Chifor, Luca Cotîrță, Sandra Gîlmeanu, Maria Hubati, Issa Ilie, Tudor Isaic, Maria Istrate, Matei Mocanu, Rosemarie Petcu. They are students of “Gheorghe Lazăr” National College, aged between 15 and 16.
During Playwriting Workshop #4, through dramatic writing exercises, the adolescents explored themes related to the pressure of always performing, future anxieties, addictions and liberating needs.
The fourth Playwriting Workshop #4, within the fourth edition of Fabulamundi, New Voices, takes place from 8th of November until 18th of December 2024, at its final result is presented in the form of a reading performance, Against the flow, directed by George Zamfir, on the stage of the theatre’s Studio Hall.
Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe has been working with European artists, professionals and institutions for over 10 years, supporting the careers of playwrights and promoting a diverse, sustainable and gender-equal ecosystem.
The current edition, entitled New Voices, focuses on developing a new generation of playwrights, discovering and supporting new voices, under the coordination of mentor-playwrights who form the Fabulamundi Community.
