ODEON Theatre announces a new show by Silviu Purcărete:
TERTIUM NON DATUR

which will take place in ODEON Theatre’s Majestic Hall on November 15, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. and on November 30, from 7:00 p.m.
The show is a co-production with the “George Coșbuc” Municipal Cultural Center in Bistrița, where the first three performances are scheduled on 8th, 9th and 10th of November.
Sacha Guitry (1885 – 1957) was a well-known French stage and film actor, screenwriter, director and author of boulevard plays. He first appeared on stage at the age of 5 and began writing at 16 and a half. He was a prolific playwright, his work comprising 124 plays.
Guitry has been considered a modern Molière, a standard in writing.
The short plays that make up the show TERTIUM NON DATUR (written between 1905 and 1939) are full of fantasy and charm, with spicy dialogues, sprinkled with intelligence and humor. Everything is fluid, light and captures the French spirit in all its splendour.
