On October 25th, we celebrate European Historic Theatres Day—an initiative of the European Route of Historic Theatres (ERHT), which includes the ODEON Theatre. This network brings together 120 of the most beautiful, compelling, and well-preserved historic theatres across Europe. The network’s goal is to acquaint the public with the cultural heritage embodied by these historic buildings and to promote historic theatres as a significant component of Europe’s cultural heritage.
Every theatre is part of a community. Every community has a story.
Our Shared Stage celebrates historic buildings as spaces that belong to multiple generations, communities and cultures. A theatre is more than a stage or an auditorium: it is a place of encounter, shaped by all those who have worked, learned and performed within its walls.
On the occasion of the European Historic Theatres Day, PERSPECTIV – Association of Historic Theatres in Europe invites you to discover its new website!

A space dedicated to the beauty, history and heritage of European theatre.
And The Odeon Theatre invites you to a guided tour, starting at 2:00 PM, led by actor Gabriel Pintilei; he will share stories from the Odeon’s century-long history and offer a glimpse into the parts of the building usually hidden from view, as well as its unexpected nooks and crannies.
