The staging of the text Hell is the memory without the power to change anything by Jonas Gardell aims to talk about identity, the need for love and the forms of psychic development in its absence.
The show reveals the tensions in family relationships, otherness, illness and suffering, dreamlike and hallucinatory representations of God and the devil in the human subconscious to highlight the inner turmoil of the characters.
Caught in emotional equations unknown to themselves, the characters transfer their own fears and anguish to each other, having or not the power to free themselves, succeeding or not in living or burying themselves in a personal hell of an insurmountable past.

In full post-dramatic theatre, Mariana Camarasan and Alexandra Penciuc turn to a dramatic theatre par excellence, sometimes even sentimentalist, in order to prove that sentimentalism, when it is dosed and played well, can ensure the aesthetic quality. What remains after watching the show at Odeon it is not the drama of rejection and the inhibition involved, but the acting of emotional consistency of the four actresses. For each of them the role in The Hell … will be a strong currency in the personal collection of successful roles.
The show has fine workmanship, carefully explored roles by the actresses, and an incredible topicality.
