FREE ENTRANCE
The fourth Playwriting Workshop #4, within the fourth edition of Fabulamundi, New Voices, takes place from 8th of November until 18th of December 2024, at its finality is presented in the form of a reading performance, on the stage of the theatre’s Studio Hall.
The participants are students of “Gheorghe Lazăr” National College, aged between 15 and 16.
We believe we know them. They are the young women and men we often say are superficial, spend all their time on TikTok, and are hyper fragile and blasé. How well do we actually know them? During the workshop, through dramatic writing exercises, the teenagers explored themes related to the pressure to always perform, future anxieties, addictions and liberating needs.
Participants also benefit from a workshop with the Catalan playwright Oriol Morales i Pujolar from Barcelona.
Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe has been working with European artists, professionals and institutions for over 10 years, supporting the careers of playwrights and promoting a diverse, sustainable and gender-equal ecosystem.
The current edition, entitled New Voices, focuses on developing a new generation of playwrights, discovering and supporting new voices, under the coordination of mentor-playwrights who form the Fabulamundi Community.
