On Thursday, May 8, 2025, participants in the PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP # 5 within the fourth edition, New Voices, of the European project Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe met with Polish playwright Ewa Mikula from Warsaw.
Entitled The Day I Became a Girl, the workshop is coordinated by Mihaela Michailov and takes place from March 12 to June 4, 2025.
The participants are 11 students from ”St. Pantelimon” High School, aged between 17 and 18.
Ewa challenged them to imagine dialogues and theatrical situations in which to mix personal perspectives with fictional stories. The dramatic writing exercises gave them the opportunity to draw inspiration from everyday realities and mysterious worlds.
The finality of workshop #5 will be presented to the public in the form of a reading performance in the Studio Hall on Wednesday, June 4, at 7:00 PM, and admission is free.
Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe has been working with artists, professionals and European institutions for over 10 years, supporting the careers of playwrights and promoting a diverse, sustainable ecosystem with equal opportunities between genders.
The current edition, entitled New Voices, focuses on the development of a new generation of playwrights, the discovery and support of new voices, under the coordination of mentor playwrights who form the Fabulamundi Community.
