Today was the first day of the workshop with the actors for MACBETH by W. Shakespeare.
The production premiered in 2024 at the Comédie-Française in Paris and will be staged at the Odeon Theatre at the beginning of the next season.
The direction is by Silvia Costa, an Italian theatre and opera director, who proposes a visual and poetic theatre nourished by a deep reflection on images. From 2006 to 2020, Silvia Costa was an actress and artistic collaborator of Romeo Castellucci.
Her productions have received major international awards, and in 2022 she was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the Minister of Culture of the French Republic.
The workshop will end on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
