Friday, 8th of November 2024, the fourth DRAMATIC WRITING WORKSHOP of the fourth edition, New Voices, of the European Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europeproject started. Entitled Turbulences, the workshop is coordinated by Mihaela Michailov and will take place up until 18th of December 2024.
The participants are students of the “Gheorghe Lazăr” National College, aged between 15 and 16. The workshop will focus on dramatic writing exercises on topics related to competition and pressure, starting from their own personal stories, in which the students will share their experiences and insights about navigating the turbulent times of adolescence.
Participants will also benefit, Monday, 16th of December, from a workshop with Catalan playwright Oriol Morales i Pujolar from Barcelona.
The finality of Workshop #4 will be presented to the public in ODEON Theatre’s Studio Hall on Thursday, 18th of December, at 7:00 PM, and admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
Fabulamundi. Playwriting Europe has been working with European artists, professionals and institutions for over ten years, supporting the careers of playwrights and promoting a diverse, sustainable and gender-equal ecosystem.
The current edition, entitled New Voices, focuses on developing a new generation of playwrights, discovering and supporting new voices, under the coordination of mentor playwrights who form the Fabulamundi Community.
